UnderQuest is a solo dark-fantasy adventure and a spiritual successor to Grey Gnome’s earlier compact dungeon crawlers. Each game begins by combining a race, class, and familiar—180 possible heroes—then selecting one hidden quest card for each of six narrative phases. Draw-two, choose-one exploration builds a branching dungeon of encounters, merchants, discoveries, and enemies. Dice combat rewards calculated risk, while experience, skills, incantations, equipment, and custom-brewed potions provide control. Eighteen base enemies combine with abomination cards to create more than 1,600 variants before the final boss.
