LA-1 is a story-driven cooperative adventure set in the ruins of Los Angeles. Detectives from Mace & Doyle Investigations move between locations, gather clues, interrogate suspects, and test their skills with cards while the Darkness track creates constant pressure. More than one version of many events lets the same case branch in different directions. Cases stand alone or link into a campaign, and distinct investigators encourage the team to divide responsibilities without losing the shared thread.
