Hex Effects is a fast take-that card game about apprentices whose experiments have gone spectacularly wrong. Each player begins with four face-up Hexes in their Shadow, draws two cards, and takes two actions per turn. Remedies cure specific Hexes but reveal fresh vulnerabilities that opponents can exploit. Alchemy and action cards add sudden reversals, and the first player to treat every starting affliction wins.
