Mag·Blast: Third Edition is a fast, chaotic card battle in which each admiral protects a flagship with ships deployed into four fleet sectors. Players draw action cards, reinforce their formation, and fire lasers, beams, torpedoes, and the devastating Mag·Blast at enemy ships in corresponding sectors. Race powers and unusual action cards encourage opportunistic alliances and sudden reversals, while destroyed screens expose a flagship to direct attack. The famous targeting system also demands an appropriate sound effect for every shot. Admirals are eliminated when their flagship is destroyed, and the last fleet standing wins.
