Mille Bornes is the classic racing card game inspired by French road travel. Players build distance toward exactly one thousand miles while using hazards such as flat tires, accidents, empty tanks, and speed limits to interrupt opponents. Remedies get a stalled car moving again, while permanent safety cards protect against matching hazards. Playing the right safety immediately after an attack creates a Coup Fourré, cancels the hazard, and rewards the defender. Team rules at four or six players turn the race into a shared-hand coordination challenge.
