Read the full game description

Omens is a team-versus-team shedding game in which every card carries its own condition or power. Partners sit across from one another and try to reduce a teammate’s hand to a single card before the opposing pair or trio does the same. Cards interact through color, number, and text, so the legal or useful play is rarely determined by rank alone. A card that helps a partner now may expose the team to a disruptive omen on the next turn; another can reverse expectations, change who may follow, or alter the rhythm of shedding. Because teammates cannot simply reveal their hands, timing and shared inference matter as much as remembering the unusual cards already seen. The small deck supports four to six players and becomes more unpredictable as a third teammate joins each side. Originally published as Présages, the English Omens edition retains Ben Renaut’s mysterious tattoo-inspired art and gives the design a compact party-game presentation with more tactical coordination than a conventional shedding game.
