Vestige is an asymmetric exploration game set amid the fragments of a once-great civilization. Each player leads a distinctive character into a modular landscape, recruits unusual allies, and gathers relics whose effects can be combined in surprising ways. Area influence and end-game goals reward purposeful movement, but the strongest path is rarely obvious at the start. Variable powers and a large mix of discoveries let each expedition develop its own identity. Solo play and multiple map configurations preserve the same central pleasure: finding a clever engine in the debris and turning it into a decisive final position.
