Natera: New Beginning is a strategy game of exploration, development, and regional influence set long after humanity has vanished. Each player leads a distinct animal tribe with its own leader and explorers into four abandoned regions. Exploration cards uncover resources, opportunities, and remnants of the old world; specialists join the tribe; settlements establish authority; and a branching technology board turns early discoveries into long-term advantages. Control of the regions changes over four seasons, forcing players to balance discovery with visible competition. More than 150 exploration cards and 40 specialists make each expedition develop differently, while asymmetric tribes encourage distinct approaches to income, expansion, and end-game scoring.
