Thesauros puts each player in charge of a maritime salvage company searching the sea for historic wrecks. Across three years and nine rounds, companies expand their maps, develop diving technology, equip speedboats, hire and train workers, and send crews to recover treasure while managing the danger of sharks. Finds can be sold to museums, displayed through sponsored halls, or used to strengthen the company’s public reputation. Sealed bids and turn-order auctions make timing and cash management matter, while the growing map creates shared opportunities and competition for the best routes. A dedicated solo mode preserves the economic puzzle, and the company with the greatest reputation at the end wins.
