Reef Project casts players as marine researchers working to restore coral ecosystems across a shared archipelago. Ships travel from island to island, collecting resources and establishing projects whose value depends on position, connection, and timing. Area influence rewards sustained presence, while set collection and end-game bonuses encourage each expedition to specialize. Because routes and scoring opportunities overlap, another crew can turn a promising plan into a contest at any moment. The environmental theme is integrated into the spatial puzzle rather than used as decoration: every action expands a visible network of research and restoration. Variable goals and asymmetrical advantages keep the strategic landscape moving without obscuring the core loop of sail, study, and rebuild.
