Rome Alone is a compact solo resource-management game played over three rounds. Each card forces a choice between immediate industry, culture, or military resources and a longer-term use such as conquest, construction, or a monument. Buildings improve the engine, regions open new scoring paths, and increasingly dangerous barbarian invasions punish players who spend military strength too aggressively. A short campaign links scenarios and adds new constraints to the same tightly wound system.
