Behold: Rome is a solo civilization game designed to be played entirely in hand. Cards have four orientations, each with a different effect or scoring condition, and every action changes how the deck will work when it cycles again. Materials upgrade cards, population conquers regions, and abandoned territories can fuel national development or become tributaries. Across twelve rounds the player advances from monarchy toward later governments, tunes an engine, and tries to outscore a chosen rival civilization without using a table.
