Lepidoptery combines a two-player climbing and shedding card game with a connection puzzle. Players take turns playing stronger combinations, but a single can beat a triple when its lowest card is higher, and the same combination type cannot be repeated immediately. Each play drops a token into the board column associated with that combination. Full columns become blocked, and later fills can clear earlier columns, so every meld changes both the card race and the spatial contest. The first player to connect four tokens or empty their deck wins.
