Dickory is a two-player climbing and shedding game built around a constantly rotating card hierarchy. Players lead singles, matching sets, or short runs, and the opponent must answer with a stronger combination of the same type. The twist is a six-card conveyor: its rightmost card defines the highest current rank, and taking cards from the row can both improve a hand and reorder every card’s relative strength. Passing clears the contest and advances the conveyor. The first player to empty their hand wins, making every draw a compact calculation about tempo, flexibility, and what the new ranking will give the opponent.
