Crisps! is a two-player ladder-climbing game stripped down to unsuited cards and a handful of potent combinations. Lead a single, set, run, or run of pairs, and the opponent must match the form at an equal or higher rank or pass. After a pass, the trick winner chooses between a face-up card and a blind draw, leaving the other card to the loser. Special triples and quadruples can overturn the strongest ordinary plays, creating a brisk contest of timing, hand-shaping, and knowing when to wait.
