The Yellow House is a two-player shedding game inspired by the months Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin shared a home in Arles. Players lead cards in four colors, and the opponent must answer with the same color or make a claim that changes the contest. Each artist may discard additional cards to strengthen a suit, so the relative value of colors shifts as the hand thins. Personality cards introduce sharp tactical effects without obscuring the central duel. Winning means reading the palette, judging when a bold claim will hold, and becoming the first artist to discard every card.
