The American Revolution Tri-Pack gathers revised editions of the first three volumes in GMT’s Battles of the American Revolution series, with Guilford’s reverse map also presenting Eutaw Springs. Each battle uses a common hex-and-counter system for movement, zones of control, rifle and artillery fire, close combat, leaders, and army morale, then adds exclusive rules for the terrain and command problems of that engagement. Initiative and tactics cards create momentum without removing the need to preserve formations and choose attacks carefully. Mounted maps, updated counters, revised scenarios, and shared player aids make the package a compact survey of four very different campaigns rather than a single long campaign game.
