The Birmingham Murder is a compact, high-difficulty case in the Unlock!: Short Adventures line. One to six investigators begin with a small card deck and use the free Unlock! app as timer, code checker, hint system, and interface for interactive machines. Numbered cards reveal locations, objects, and clues; matching compatible symbols can unlock new cards, while hidden numbers reward close observation. Red and blue objects combine, green machines are manipulated through the app, and incorrect guesses may cost precious time. The 1920s Birmingham setting frames a murder investigation through the city’s criminal underworld. The adventure uses thirty scenario cards plus two rules cards, fits in a slim pouch, and delivers a complete cooperative escape-room experience in roughly half an hour to an hour.
