Deckscape: Behind the Curtain is a cooperative escape-room adventure delivered through sixty oversized cards and one mysterious pack. Players begin at Lance Oldman’s sold-out final magic show, read only the exposed card, and follow the deck as it reveals locked boxes, strange props, visual clues, and branching stacks of puzzles. Solutions are checked immediately by flipping cards; mistakes add time penalties rather than halting the story, and a built-in hint path keeps the performance moving. The game teaches itself through the opening cards, requires no app, and does not destroy components, so the deck can be reset and passed to another group even though the puzzle answers make it a one-shot experience for the original players. The magic-show theme supports tactile surprises without exposing them in advance, making this fifth Deckscape case especially effective for a small group that wants a complete hour-long escape night in one pocket box.
