Trismegistus is a heavyweight alchemy game in which rival researchers study the surviving notes of Hermes Trismegistus. Over three rounds, players draft dice whose colors and values determine the strength and type of actions available. Those actions transmute metals, collect and activate artifacts, complete experiments, unlock research, and manipulate primal elements through carefully linked combinations. The revised edition streamlines the original design while preserving its dense web of timing decisions and long tactical turns. The alchemist who converts the best sequence of discoveries into victory points wins.
