Thunder Road is a fast elimination race built around toy vehicles, dice, and a highway that never seems to end. Each player commands a lead car, a second car, a buggy, and a helicopter. Movement dice send vehicles surging down the modular road boards; when the rear board empties, it moves to the front, keeping the chase compressed and dangerous. Landing beside a rival allows a ram, shots can destroy exposed vehicles, and wrecks or road hazards can turn an apparently safe lane into a trap. The helicopter ignores the road but adds firepower from above, making it both a tactical threat and a last reserve when the convoy below is reduced. Much of the fun comes from spectacular dice-driven collisions, yet lane choice, vehicle order, blocking, and when to risk a ram determine who remains in contention. Victory belongs not to the first vehicle across a finish line, but to the player whose road gang is still alive.
