Sausage Sizzle! is a compact roll-and-write game about hungry Australian animals raiding a barbecue. On a turn, a player rolls critter dice and food dice, then chooses which results to lock before rerolling the rest. A score multiplies the number of matching critters by the food value shown, but each of the six animals can be scored only once during the game. That creates a clean push-your-luck question: bank a workable result now or spend another roll chasing a better group and risk losing the combination. Sausages normally count as just one point, yet four sausage faces together make every sausage worth seven for a spectacular round. After all six rows are filled, the highest total wins. The new English edition fits the entire game into a small box and needs no in-game reading.
