Revenant is a competitive worker-placement strategy game set in the Voidfall universe. A battered fleet is escaping the Voidborn, and every player contributes specialists and resources to keep it moving—while privately pursuing influence over the great Houses that may inherit what survives. Across four rounds, workers claim action spaces, develop asymmetric capabilities, manipulate House allegiance, and affect the condition and position of ships in the shared fleet. Players can cooperate just enough to prevent catastrophe, but hidden scoring and limited placements make every helpful action politically charged. The fleet’s needs change as the journey advances, rewarding forward planning and flexible sequencing rather than a fixed engine. Variable player powers and multiple strategic paths support very different approaches to technology, logistics, and influence. Solo play preserves the management puzzle, while multiplayer adds a sharp layer of timing and reading opponents. This is a dense Eurogame whose shared crisis creates tension without turning the design fully cooperative.
