Reds! The Russian Civil War 1918–1921 is a two-player operational wargame about a conflict whose armies and alliances changed as quickly as its fronts. A chit-pull system activates Red fronts, White factions, national movements, and intervention forces in an uncertain order. Players move along rail and point-to-point routes, fight on a hex map, contest resource cities, and manage political events that can be as consequential as a battle. The Reds benefit from central position and eventually stronger organization; the Whites must coordinate dispersed armies, foreign aid, and local opportunities before that advantage hardens. Variable events and activation timing keep the historical outline recognizable while making each campaign strategically unstable.
