Ovation is an engine-building game about becoming one of the great composers of the classical era. Each turn you seek Inspiration in Joy, Passion, or Sorrow, seek Fortune, gain Patronage, or Perform chamber and concert music. Fortune and patron cards create linked bonuses, while every performance scores Legacy Points and lets neighboring rivals attend for inspiration. Unique composer abilities, Magnum Opus cards, and contested Maestro goals shape a race toward the greatest musical legacy.
