Ofrenda is a competitive card-placement puzzle inspired by Día de los Muertos. Players draft family portraits from a shared row, paying marigolds onto every skipped card, then place each portrait freely on a personal altar. Colours, symbols, neighbours, candles, and marigolds create overlapping spatial goals; satisfying a portrait’s wish flips it to its luminous side and increases the value of the surrounding display. The market’s accumulating rewards and the increasingly crowded altar make every choice more difficult, with dedicated solo rules and optional common goals extending the puzzle.
