Norman Conquests: Men of Iron Volume V is a tactical hex-and-counter wargame spanning the Battle of Civitate, the three great clashes of 1066, Tinchebrai, Lewes, and Evesham. Formations activate through command decisions and continuation attempts, then maneuver, fire missiles, charge, and fight while facing and terrain shape every exchange. Momentum can produce a devastating sequence of attacks, but overextension leaves valuable troops isolated when initiative passes. The seven scenarios offer distinct armies and battlefield problems within the established Men of Iron system.
