Night Soil turns an unglamorous piece of Tudor London history into a sharp economic strategy game. Players manage rival sanitation companies, using Labourer cards at night to move waste cubes through narrow streets, earn money, and recruit more workers. By day those workers advertise, court local businesses, and improve company assets—while their presence also adds to the city’s growing problem. A shared movement system, guild tracks, deck development, and money that doubles as victory points create constant trade-offs between efficiency, influence, and helping an opponent by accident.
