Italy ’43 is an operational wargame covering the Allied advance from Naples to the Gustav Line from October through December 1943. One or two players command American, British, Commonwealth, and German formations across a hex map where mountains, rivers, fortified positions, supply, and zones of control shape every plan. Four scenarios range from focused openings to the full campaign. The design shares its system and scale with Salerno ’43, using combat-result tables, determined defense, extended movement, and concise special rules for the difficult Italian theater.
