India Rails applies the classic Empire Builder crayon-rail system to the demanding geography of the Indian subcontinent. Players draw efficient routes directly on the laminated map, pay terrain costs to expand track, upgrade trains, and fulfill commodity contracts for cash. River crossings, distant markets, and shifting demand cards reward adaptable networks rather than a single perfect route. Victory requires both a large fortune and connections to the major cities.
