FateFlip: Washed Ashore compresses a branching solo adventure into a deck of double-sided story cards. You wake on an unfamiliar beach, establish the chapter’s resource tracks, then read the top card and choose how the castaway responds. Symbols tell you when to change food, energy, safety, or later chapter resources; gain an item; rotate or flip a card; resolve it immediately; or return it to the deck so a consequence can surface later. The physical manipulation of the same cards lets earlier decisions rewrite both the story and the options still available. Across three chapters, the journey can move from basic island survival to life with a local community and an attempt to sail home. Thirteen endings reward replay, memory, and different priorities without marking or destroying components.
