Backstories: The Emerald Wedding Anniversary is a cooperative narrative adventure about infiltrating General Darcosa’s heavily guarded celebration. Players explore locations, question characters, use objects, and pursue objectives by sliding perforated action cards behind scene cards, revealing only the result of the chosen interaction. New cards alter the panorama and the agent’s status as the mission branches toward several possible endings. The system keeps rules overhead light while making observation, discussion, and the consequences of group decisions the heart of the experience.
