Expedition: Challenger is a standalone expert-level Unlock! adventure inspired by classic lost-world expeditions. Players begin with a deck of numbered cards and a free companion app, then explore by revealing locations, spotting hidden numbers, combining colored objects, and entering codes or machine results. Every card is shared information, so progress depends on the group dividing the search without losing the story’s connections. Wrong answers cost time, while the app supplies hints, atmospheric audio, penalties, and special machines without replacing the tactile puzzle deck. Because this is a single scenario, the pleasure is in one spoiler-free discovery rather than repeated optimization. It is playable alone, but a small cooperative group gives the strongest balance of observation, discussion, and fast cross-checking.
