Backstories: Alone Under the Ice is a cooperative narrative adventure that turns a deck of panorama and perforated action cards into a tabletop point-and-click game. Sophie travels to a refuge on Mont Blanc after her brother Jean disappears while investigating the long-lost Amber Room. Players choose whether to search, question, explore, or use discovered objects, place the matching action card behind a scene, then flip it to reveal the result through the card window. Decisions open and close paths, change later encounters, and lead to several possible endings without destroying the game.
