Dungeonology: The Expedition turns classic fantasy exploration into a competitive academic field study. Each player leads a scholar through modular dungeon zones to observe communities, collect information, and assemble a thesis worthy of the university chair. Residents follow their own patterns and become suspicious when researchers disrupt daily life, so careless investigation can trigger alarms and dangerous reactions. Scholars use asymmetric abilities, assistants, and trick cards to manipulate encounters, steal opportunities, and escape with the evidence they need. The result is an interactive exploration game where route planning and information gathering are inseparable from mischief among rival academics.
