Catan: Starfarers Duel compresses Starfarers into a dedicated two-player contest. Each captain begins with a modular mothership and explores a card-driven galaxy, discovering planets, trading posts, pirate bases, and helpful alien peoples. Resource dice power construction, trade, and upgrades, while the mothership’s booster balls determine movement and can trigger encounters. New modules improve freight, weapons, engines, or colony capacity, so every expansion decision changes which opportunities you can reach. The first player to ten victory points wins, but success depends on building an efficient ship without surrendering the best routes and alliances to a rival.
