CastleScape combines deck building with direct area control on a central construction board. Each guild recruits specialists, gathers resources, and places physical wall pieces to expand the king’s castle. Completing a bailey awards renown according to its size, but control belongs to the guild with the strongest influence inside it, so every wall can advance a plan, steal an opportunity, or force an opponent to finish an awkward enclosure. Infamy, corruption, contracts, and market timing add strategic tension beyond the satisfying structure that grows across the table.
