Captain Tsubasa: The Card Game recreates an anime football match as a two-player deck-building duel. Coaches draft their starting teams, then improve them with players, fans, match plays, and events purchased during the contest. Passes, shots, and defenses combine card values, action tokens, and dice, while injuries, yellow and red cards, the referee, and special moves disrupt even a strong plan. Two halves give both sides time to develop a squad, but only the player who converts that engine into more goals wins.
