Border Reivers gives each player command of one of the great riding families along the sixteenth-century Anglo-Scottish border. Across three turns, families recruit wardens and notorious clans, fortify farms and towers, raise sheep and cattle, compete for offices, and launch winter raids across the Marches. Successful combat, large herds, and regional Notoriety score victory points, while simultaneous activity keeps the political and military struggle moving at every player count.
