Black Rose Wars: Duel – Lex is a standalone two-player contest set in a Templar stronghold hiding the remains of the mage Ulrich. Each player commands a distinctive mage, programs spells, manages resources, summons evocations, and exploits a modular circle of rooms whose effects reshape the duel. Both rivals draw from a shared school of magic, so timing and denial matter as much as raw power. The compact battlefield keeps every move confrontational, while asymmetric personal spells and upgrades open different tactical paths. Lex can be played by itself and can also add compatible material to Black Rose Wars and Black Rose Wars: Rebirth.
