BattleTech: Alpha Strike Box Set is a complete entry point for commanding large formations of BattleMechs with the faster Alpha Strike rules. Thirteen assembled miniatures, fold-up buildings, trees, counters, support cards, pilot cards, and unit cards turn the table into a three-dimensional battlefield. Players measure movement, manage firing arcs and range bands, exploit line of sight and terrain, and weigh each unit’s Target Movement Modifier against the need to claim a better attack position. The system preserves BattleTech’s factional flavor and tactical combined-arms feel while resolving battles on a broader scale than the classic hex game.
