Baltic Empires is a strategic game of great-power rivalry around the Baltic Sea from 1558 to 1721. Denmark-Norway, Sweden, Russia, Poland-Lithuania, and Brandenburg-Prussia develop different economies, recruit historical Dramatis Personae, secure trade hubs, and raise armies in pursuit of faction-specific ambitions. Custom battle dice, loans, bribery, shifting alliances, and scenarios for two to five players create a diplomatic empire-building game with several distinct paths to victory.
