Age of Wonders: Planetfall condenses the science-fiction strategy video game into a brisk seven-round card-drafting contest. A fresh planet opens each round, and every commander explores it twice by selecting an affordable Planet card or an operation. Units test experience and strength, technologies and landmarks consume energy, and the chosen spaces continually reshape turn order. Empire points come from discoveries, battles, operations, and the three conditions on a shared Goal sheet, rewarding commanders who balance immediate value with a coherent endgame.
