Read the full game description

1812: Napoleon's Fateful March is a two-player operational wargame about Napoleon's invasion of Russia. The French player must drive east, win battles, and keep an increasingly vulnerable army supplied; the Russian player trades space for time, threatens the invader's logistics, and looks for the moment when distance, weather, and attrition begin doing more damage than battle. Campaign cards and secretly assigned orders create uncertainty without burying the campaign under tactical detail. The result is a tense march-and-countermarch contest in which every advance raises the value of Moscow while also lengthening the road home.
