Yomi 2: Road to Morningstar translates the mind games of a fighting video game into cards. Each player chooses one of ten asymmetric fighters and one of six gems, then simultaneously commits attacks, blocks, dodges, or throws. High and low attacks punish the wrong defense, knockdowns open mix-ups, and exchange icons let players trade cards between hand and discard pile to sculpt future combos. Pairs can become super meter for powerful finishers, while gems add special moves and a once-per-game storm. The box supports competitive duels as well as solo and cooperative battles against escalating automated opponents.
