Warhammer 40,000 (Tenth Edition) is the 2023 core rules framework for Games Workshop’s large-scale science-fiction miniature battles. Players build armies from distinct factions, deploy terrain and objectives, then move, shoot, charge, and fight through mission-driven rounds. Streamlined datasheets and universal special rules make the turn sequence more readable while preserving deep list construction, spatial measurement, line-of-sight tactics, and asymmetric faction identities. Matched missions support competitive one-off games, while Crusade play adds a continuing campaign for evolving forces.
