Waddle is a compact abstract strategy game about making connected groups of penguins while competing for fish. On a turn, a player adds a penguin to the shared hex board and uses the placement to shape both local control and a larger network. Surrounding fish creates immediate scoring opportunities, but joining penguins into a large waddle can be just as valuable. The central twist is the marble turn-order track: actions can change who plays next, letting a well-timed placement set up a second move or force an opponent to act before the board is ready. Variable setup keeps the small board from becoming routine, and the simple action structure makes tactical consequences easy to see. Games are quick, interactive, and increasingly sharp as more colours crowd the same space.
