Twisted Cryptids is a competitive card game about famous creatures trying to shape their own myths. Each player controls a cryptid with a unique power and favored hiding spots, then plays action cards to move or influence the human groups roaming the wilderness. Events disrupt familiar patterns, while a hidden trait offers a private scoring objective that opponents can only infer. After five rounds, remaining sightings and myth tokens determine which creature became the most convincing legend. Variable cryptids and setups keep the puzzle social, reactive, and easy to revisit.
