Thorgal: The Board Game is a cooperative storybook adventure based on the long-running fantasy comic series. Players take the roles of Thorgal, Aaricia, Jolan, Kriss, and other heroes, then use polyomino action tiles to build efficient patterns on personal boards. Those actions move the party across scenario maps, resolve encounters, fight enemies, gather clues, and influence branching story events. Each of the seven scenarios is a complete standalone adventure rather than a legacy campaign, so groups can play them in any order, revisit choices, or change heroes without preserving state. Distinct characters and map structures encourage different combinations, while the narrative book gives tactical decisions immediate consequences. It is a substantial cooperative experience with strong table presence and no permanent alterations.
