Read the full game description

The Same Game is a cooperative communication game about finding the one dimension that two very different objects share. Each clue giver receives an object and secretly learns a trap category—perhaps weight, price, movement, material, or importance to humanity. They write a second object that should resemble the first in that category while differing as clearly as possible in every other category on display. The team then discusses the pair and removes cups from categories it believes are different. Every safe removal advances the score, but uncovering the hidden trap ends that turn immediately. Because the clue giver cannot comment once the objects are revealed, the conversation belongs entirely to the guessers, producing earnest arguments about questions nobody expected to debate. Four difficulty levels change the category mix, and the large object deck makes combinations feel fresh. The rules are light, yet good clues demand creativity, empathy, and a precise sense of how other people classify the world.
